HB began in 1960 by designing and building cooling systems, soon becoming a leading global business. UK based Company, Sorption Wheel Services, joined the HB Group in 1996 to continue the marketing, sales and servicing of HB Group Products, becoming part of a 
group that now included Danish desiccant
dehumidifier manufacturer HB Cotes. This opened up the UK market for the supply of both standard and bespoke product in the already established business areas.
Today, the HB Group is considered an international specialist in cooling and product/process drying. In addition to developing and manufacturing systems, we also maintain and service them. This total project approach has helped to spread the groups’ excellent reputation worldwide. We stand for knowledge, quality and reliability.
In total, the HB Group comprises HB Koeltechniek BV and HB Drying Systems in the Netherlands, HB Sorption Wheel Services Ltd in the UK, HB Cotes A/S in Denmark, HB Krako in the Czech Republic, HB Trocknungssysteme in Germany, and HB Shanghai Drying Systems Ltd in China.
